The genealogy research on the vadadi branch of the Filep family and the making of the family tree started in 1984, thanks to the collaboration of Mr. Zoltàn Filep of Pàpa and Mr. Làszló Filep of Székesfehérvàr. Since then, the project has evolved due to work meetings three times a year. The eager voluntary participation of other family members in these meetings has allowed a reconstruction of family affiliations and has recuperated many pieces of evidence. Nevertheless, obscure parts of the family remain to be found and gaps remain to be filled. The documents collected can all be found with Mr. Filep Zoltàn in Pàpa, who has the responsibility of overseeing the genealogic research. He is also in charge of the personal information of people who are interested in the genealogy work.
